The Apsley by Sunrise Receives WELL Platinum & Makes History

Congratulations to the project team behind The Apsley by Sunrise on the building's WELL Platinum Certification! The new senior living tower is not only the first assisted living facility in the U.S. to achieve WELL Platinum Certification, but at 140,170 SF, it is also the largest assisted living facility in the world to achieve this distinction from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI)!

With 162 luxury senior living units, The Apsley focuses specifically on providing memory care, with half of the units reserved for seniors with memory and cognitive disorders. AKF provided a suite of services for the new tower, including MEP / FP engineering, low voltage engineering, Energy + Performance consulting, commissioning, and lighting design by AKF’s lighting brand Lightcraft.
